I'm not even dead.

So I'm not dead, but I feel like my boob is gonna fall off...good times.
So a few weeks ago I received the best package from my lovely blog friend Suzanne! She sent my chocolate (which I gobbled up meself) and the cutest sunglasses, a homemade card, another card saying "Edward loves Lauren" and two pairs of socks because she was my "Sox Exchange Buddy"!! I didn't want to post them yet because I had other plans... Here they are! They kept my toesies nice and warm while I was in Pre-Op and in the Operating room! They are the cutest Mickey Mouse socks ever! Thanks Suzanne! (Sorry my legs look like they are 10 years long...I blame it on my mom's picture taking.)

The surgery went well...I only cried once and that was when I realized I was being sent off to the operating room by myself. Very scary! They had to do my IV twice and I didn't even beat the nurse up. My anesthesiologist was bomb dot com...and kinda attractive.

Ted has been taking excellent care of me...he even walks me to the bathroom. What a guy! My mom h as been excellent too...she should become a nurse, seriously. She has given my drugs, changed my ice-packs and even helped me change my clothes.

I will keep you updated!

Aw Sweetie I'm so glad you're there with your sweetie and have lots of people taking care of you!
Now where are the answers to all those anesthesia questions!?

I bet everyone in the Pre-Op waiting room thought I was the worst mom EVER, taking your picture and all! :0

Just call me the drug pusher.

Don't worry, my friends. The Q&A's are coming...I just need to rest a little bit before I post them.

It's so good to see your smile again!

I think Golden Spoon helps with swelling. It works together with socks to create a general feeling of happiness and calm!

Hang in there...not long now!

Lauren, you're amazing. I don't think there is anyway that I could blog the day after going through that!

I'm so glad that the surgery went well!!! It must have been terrifying, but hopefully you feel relief that it's over. It sounds like you're in good hands too being taken care of by your family and Ted! Does he get to stay for long or does he have to go back to Seattle soon?

You look SO cute in your sox! I hope you didn't think I was expecting a sox post for your surgery! I was just afraid that somehow I'd missed it. I had so much fun mailing the sox to you! :)

Please keep us updated on your recovery!

Well, I, for one, am so glad you're not even a little bit dead.

Plus, your sox totally match your blog. Most likely, you already know, but I like to make very obvious observations like that.

Hey, what about the Dad Face who carried your sack of stuff all over the surgery place, lifted you out of the wheelchair and into the car and spent two hours getting you the Pei Wei recovery dinner? :)

You were a brave little girl and I love you.

P.S. I've never heard of any boobs falling off.

I'm so happy to see you smiling in that hospital bed! You go girl!

I had surgery and thought my anesthesiologist was the bomb and attractive. Actually, mine told me that when he started looking attractive, I was being over medicated:)

Take care and let everyone do EVERYTHING for you!
